Abstract: ABSTRACT KADERMAN MATIUS HARITA “(DIFFERENCES OF FE INTAKE AND THE LEVEL OF HB NUTRITION CHILDREN LESS AGE 12-59 MONTHS BEFORE AND AFTER IN THE INTERVENTION OF COCONUT LEAF COOKIES DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PETUMBUKAN)” (DIBAWAH BIMBINGAN NOVRIANI TARIGAN) The whole world is experiencing nutritional problems. Poor nutrition problems usually occur in developing countries. Indonesia is one of the developing countries in Asia that has experienced malnutrition with a fairly large prevalence. based on the Results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas, 2013) that the prevalence of under five years old children under five who suffer from malnutrition in Indonesia is 19.6%. North Sumatra is ranked 16th out of 33 provinces in Indonesia. The purpose of knowing the difference in Fe intake and Hb levels of malnourished children aged 12-59 months before and after intervention in Moringa leaf cookies in Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Petumbukan. This research was carried out in the Petumbukan Health Center work area. This research took place from September 2017 - July 2018. The data collection was carried out in May 2018. This type of research was quasi experiment with one group design pre test and post test. The population of this study was that all malnourished children aged 12-59 months in the Petumbukan Health Center and Sample work areas were populations that met the inclusion. From the results of the study, 26 samples showed that there was no difference between Wilcoxon Fe intake before and after intervention with values (p = 0.969), with undernourished children and Hb levels from the results of the Dependent T test. (p = 0.582), with malnourished children. It can be concluded that there is no difference in Fe intake of malnourished children aged 12-59 months before and after intervention of Moringa leaf cookies and there is no difference in Hb levels of malnourished children aged 12-59 months before and after intervention of Moringa leaf cookies.
